being a fair-skinned black person, I know that depending on the season, my hair color and the lighting my skin can look “white” or “pale” or golden. I’m amazed at how the automatic assumption is that she is lightening her skin. Being a black person with fair skin means that you have mixed heritage somewhere down the line… meaning that your features and skin color can look a variety of different ways depending on the interpretation. I’m appalled that so many people find it a necessity to find the flaws in celebrities, as if that will make them more accesible. News flash they were human beings before and they will remain that way, if we stop idolizing them so much I think this conspiracy obsession will end.
