Born underwater at home, on July 9, 1994, in Mount Morris, Illinois, to the atheistic stay-at-home Lithuanian homemaker mother, and an American father, chef and dietary manager. Why is she child prodigy? Because at age 4 she had a life-changing spiritual transformation, bringing the family to God and she started to draw and paint. You might say – every child likes to draw, but Akiane’s drawings were special, mature and at age 8 even professional. She was teaching herself and learning mostly from her own keen observation and study. But this is not where story ends, at age 7 began writing poetry and aphorisms. The inspiration for her art and literature comes from her visions, dreams, observations of people, nature and God.

i would love to paint a painting as you paint your painting
i want to see how u get so much from your brush
discovered your name and painting of Jesus in the book Heaven is for Real., which I finished in the early morning hours. I was fascinated by the portrait and was led to look up your website and more about you. Your personal story is sp interesting to me. Coming from an atheist background is especially profound. I am happy I found you and your beautiful gift. I can’t wait to share this discovery with friends and family. Maybe one day I can buy a print or painting. It would not be easy to decide which one. I feel you are a blessing to me and the planet . I look forward to seeing more of what you do. I haven’t read any of your writings yet. I would like to be on your mailing list or know if you can be contacted on facebook. I am a grandmother, I live in Iowa City Iowa, and I am glad to find out about you. Thank you, Sandra
